The Orlando Titans are pleased and excited to announce that Nancy is the first Lady Titan Dancer to be chosen as the National Lacrosse League (NLL) girl of the week!
The new NLL Girl of the Week loves the sun and hates cold weather; residing in Orlando, FL, Nancy is a true Floridian. During the day, Nancy is a dental assistant specializing in surgical procedures, but at night it's time for her to hit the field with her fellow Lady Titans dancers.
Growing up, Nancy was a cheerleader and specialized in various Spanish dances such as Meringue and Salsa but surprisingly has never been formally trained in a dance studio.
"Everything just came pretty natural to me. Also, by watching and dancing with highly trained technical dancers I was able to pick up other styles of dance."
Her hard work has paid off as she has danced professionally for four years now; Nancy has danced for arena football, arena soccer and now lacrosse with the Orlando Titans!
Nancy loves dancing for the Orlando Titans.
"Lacrosse never gets boring. It's such an exciting sport!"
Casey Powell is Nancy's favorite Orlando Titans player, and her favorite part of cheering for the Titans is "cheering for such an amazing team and with a group of talented, beautiful and amazing dancers.
"I couldn't have asked for anything better."
Nancy would describe herself as outgoing, adventurous and kind. Her friends would say she's loyal, fun and a caring person. Her pet peeve is "people who take up two parking spaces and traffic." Her perfect day is any day that she is with her family and friends, and not surprisingly her role model is her mother.
You may be surprised to know that Nancy has gone hunting and is also a thrill junkie who loves roller coasters. She plans on expanding her career in the dental field as a Dental Hygienist and one day hopes to travel to Italy!
Nancy thinks it's great to bring professional lacrosse to Florida.
"It's about time!"
